Broil King Regal S 490 Grill vs Weber Genesis II LX 340
The Regal S490 features four burner gas grills but no side burner. With high end stainless steel construction. There is a primary grilling area of 500 square inches and has a heat output of 50,000 BTU/hr from the gas burners.
The 490 Pro is clad in stainless steel to give this grill a modern look. With 9 mm stainless steel rods, the cooking grid is a lot heavier than comparable grills which provides good heat retention. This also imprints bold sear marks on the food which is just a grilling must-have of course.
The Genesis II LX S-340 has three main burners, a side burner, and useful accessories like a scale, control panel that is illuminated. The grill covers 513 square inches and provides a 43,500 BTU output from the 3 burners and a 12,000 BTU from the side burner. The construction is simple yet sturdy and is a good value for money.
The winner : The Regal S490 is the winner in this case. We found the grill to reach 700 degrees within 5 minutes which is great especially if you are not too patient. Weber Genesis II S-435 vs. Broil King Regal 490 Pro
The Genesis S-435 features four burners and has an ample cooking space of 646 sq inches which is more than enough to cook 28 hamburgers! We love that this grill is compatible with iGrill 3 app-connected thermometer which monitors your food from beginning to the perfect serve. Other features that we liked is the Infinity ignition, flavorizer bars and grease management.
This Broil King Regal 490 Pro grill has 4-burner main gas burners with a side and rotisserie burners. This grill has porcelain coated cast iron grates with a stainless steel construction. The main burners produce an output of 50,000 BTU maximum output from the main burners which does a great job of heating evenly.
The side burners produce 10,000 BTU which is a little underwhelming. The features of dual-tube burners and control valves on this grill provides this grill with an even precise flow and solves the problem of uneven heating. It has 500 square inches primary cooking area with a total of 695 square inches
The Verdict: The Genesis S-435 is the winner for us because of its large grilling space, features, app-enabled thermometer and 10-year warranty. It is also multipurpose in use as you can grill meat or vegetables, heat bread and can also serve the purpose of an oven.

An affordable 3 stainless-steel burners, the Broil King 320 has a moderate cooking space of 400 sq inches. While this may not seem impressively big, consider that the grilling area is another 235 sq inches. The power output from the main burners is 40,000 BTU. Because these burners are dual-tubed, the gas and heat will flow evenly. Thanks to the so called ‘ infinity ignition’ switch, it will ignite every time and ensure an even heating surface.

This gas grill will heat evenly thanks its to dual-tube burners which is supposed to help the gas flow evenly.
With a cast aluminum and stainless steel body, this Baron line is certainly durable with good heat retention properties. Like most other Broil King grills, this one also uses the Flav-R-Wave technology that converts drippings into vapour, infusing meat with flavour.
The Weber Spirit 11 comes with 2 burners with a heat output of 26,500 BTU and 360 sq inches of frying area. Cast iron gates are porcelain-covered to provide better heat retention.

The Broil King Baron 440 is easy to use and great for beginners. It features four main burners and a side burner which is convenient to cook vegetables. It has a sturdy construction with cast-iron grates. It generates a power of 50,000 BTU four main burners, which is good enough for grilling meat.
While the side burner generates 10,000 BTU which is not too high for side dishes. We found that this grill can hold about 15 hamburgers which is enough for the average party. The grates have a sturdy construction and are made of cast iron and the burners are made of stainless steel.
The Verdict: The Broil King Baron 440 is a top-notch grill in our opinion. While slower to heat, it ends up providing an even spread of heat while the cast-iron grates keeps it locked in. The Baron King uses a patented system to transfer food drippings into vapor which is then infused into the food again. Any grill-enthusiast would know that this process brings out the flavour of food. Broil King Baron has an excellent warranty of 10 years.
