Tips to defrost frozen hamburger buns
- While you leave the frozen hamburger buns at room temperature, you need to cover/ wrap them completely (you can keep them as they were in the airtight freezer packaging). - The time to defrost the frozen buns can vary depending on what the temperature is and how many buns the package contains. Normally, a single bun thaw within 15 to 20 minutes while a full bag of buns may require an hour
- You can try laying a damp paper towel over the buns before microwaving them to keep the buns nice and moist

Warning!!!
We originally had a method of using aluminium foil technique. I am concerned if people read this and use the foil improperly because putting foil in a microwave can cause arcs (sparks), smoke, and a fire. The sharp edges of aluminum foil is what can cause the sparks, smoke, and fire…So, we removed that method. safety comes first!

Timing is everything over here. A second here or there, your entire bun and even oven gets ruined. So be very careful.
- For it to work the best, it’s better if you separate the top and the bottom bun as it will be easier to handle.
- After that use a kitchen towel, as it will stop the product from either getting soggy or drying out.
- Put the buns in the microwave, one at a time and for not more than 10 seconds.
- Repeat the 3rd step for 5 seconds one more time and if required do it again to warm it up to the level you like.
- Always make sure that you don’t put it in the microwave for a long time as it will make the buns soggy.
- Flip the buns whenever you heat them one more time so that the moisture doesn’t make the bun soggy.
